This is what we accomplished on the bench build. We got the front legs and supports on. They are attached with a deck screw which has a large head on it that kind of works as a washer. Next Monday we plan to put the back on the seat. Then there are only the sides and arm rest to attach. The bench is one reason the kids are anxious to get to my house on Monday. The boys love to try to figure out problems and design the parts. I think it is starting to look like a bench. Come to think about it, it might have been easier if we had plans or blueprints, but not as fun.
