During the summer all circles meet together in the church. A short business meeting, a delicious treat and a bible study. We were very lucky to have a delicious fruit salad and a variety of coffee breads. Of course it goes without saying we had coffee-- after all First is a Lutheran Church. Our bible study was part of the gospel of Mark. It dealt with Jesus telling the disciples to feed the 5000. Mark is the first gospel that was written around 70 AD. The text is the teachings and stories of Peter. After the study it was Mary circles turn to clean the kitchen. Once a month the kitchen gets a deep cleaning.
