My son was golfing in the Bully Pulpit Golf Course in Medora, ND over the 4th weekend. He got out of his cart to get his iron that he needed for the next shot and realized that he was stepping on the snake in the picture. That golf course is full of rattle snakes, so when he heard the hissing he jump 15 feet. Well, luckily it was a bull snake and not a rattler. He could have gotten bitten, but is was only be a wound and not deadly. He said his heart was just pumping. Well, I am reminded of one of the reasons that I was glad to move from that end of the state. Snakes, yuck.
