This prayer canvas was started at Trinity Lutheran church. Then it made it through ELCA synod. Each square is a prayer that was written or pictured by someone. Then it was taken on the Lutheran trip to India. In India church members were encouraged to write or paint a block representing a prayer. . After that when the group was leaving to return to America the canvas was cut in half and half was left with the church members in India. I was asked to help preserve the pieces as some of the blocks needed to be sewn down.
