Brrrrrrrrrr. It was cold. This service took place in Becida at the Becida Cemetery. The VFW lead the ceremony. A 21 gun salute, patriotic songs, speeches, prayers and reading of the veterans that were buried in the cemetery. There is one Civil war Veteran buried there. I read the list of names and there were 61 veterans. We then had a potluck dinner at the Fern hall. Lots of conversation and memories. My homemakers club organizes this event.
