My homemakers club had our annual pie and ice cream social. It is our only money maker during the year. It was well attended and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We hold it in the yard of one of our members and we each make two pies. This year I cheated and bought my pies, but I'll go back to making them next year. I had a time crunch on my hands. It is one of the last old time events for the Becida community. Our clubs fiscal year is over and we restart the second Monday in September.
