Carnegie reconsidered

The city council has finally come to their senses.  They have cancelled the meeting to proceed with the park plans.  The carnegie building is the blockage.   They have a proposal to consider about the use of that old structure.  The proposal is to use it for the public television studio.  What a great idea.  They think if they decide to keep the carnegie building the renovations to the building will be combined with the parks renovation.  They will reschedule the meeting in 2-3 weeks.  At that time the Old School Remembered group will present a presentation of using the saved arch from our high school in their plans. I have an earlier blog post that spoke of the Carnegie Library.  It is posted on October 29, 2011.  It is called another old building on the chopping block.
