High Tea

Founded in 1929, The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International helps to promote professional and personal growth of key women educators and excellence in education.  This English Tea was sponsored by the local Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter.  Not only did they have a wonderful tea, scones and assorted treats, they had the tables set with beautiful china and tea cups.  They had a handout listing tea time etiquette.  The one I found interesting was the tea superstition.  "To put milk in your tea before sugar is to cross the path of love, perhaps not even marry."  The program was very interesting.  Deb R. and Joyce S. shared their photography and the experiences they gained through their graduate work in Northern England.   It was titled "From Beatrix Potter to Harry Potter."
