My circle met at one of our members home.  We are studying the women of the Bible.  This month it is Miriam.  She is the sister of Moses.  When he mother put Moses is the basket in the Bull rushes in hopes of protecting him, Miriam stay near by to protect him and watch over him.  When the Pharaoh's daughter found him she was there to help her find a wet nurse for him. It was surprising that she suggested her mother as the wet nurse.  Yes, that would mean that Moses's mother actually got to raise her own child.  I found it very interesting the strength of character the Bible women had during such difficult times.  Of course while we were there we drink coffee and ate Christmas goodies.   We had a short meeting. What a lovely group of women.   I had to cut it short as I had a lunch date with friends and family.
