I ran into one of Dave's classmates Thursday. She told me that they honored Dave at their class reunion this weekend. It would have been his 50th. She told me that they lite a candle for each of their deceased classmates and had each of their pictures posted on the wall behind the candles. Dave's had one of the biggest classes that BHS has had. It was around 300. His classmate said that they had lost 39 classmates. It was touching to hear this story, but even more touching to read in her face just how moved she was with this gesture.
