I have just merged my two favorite hobbies. Classic car restoration and quilting. I am no artist so getting the proportions correct was a difficult task. My first few attempts made the car look like a matchbox toy. The background was overwhelming. Then while I looking at a new quilting catalog I discovered that simplicity was better. Our minds are able to create the mountains and the lake. I am very happy with the results. I will be looking for a place to hang it in my home.
