I just found this to be interesting. How things have changed. I was three when this advice was printed in the singer sewing manual. A life time of changes. I have a copy of this book from singer. I can tell you that I break most of the recommendations. I had better get over to the sink and do my dishes. I know they are piled up. That way my mind will be freed up to work on my blog or watch TV with a clear conscience.
